I wonder how many death threats and forms of harassments Hyori, a living Korean brand name, has received in a lifetime? Probably more than U-Nee considering she’s still alive and kicking. One thing is for sure, she’s one tough girl to endure so much scrutiny and yet still go out there as an open target just to fulfill her obligation as a working entertainer.
It’s kind of a nice middle finger to all those who disapproves every little thing she does and wears. If that is in fact what’s on her mind then I’d consider her one of the coolest Kpopstars ever.
I just find it sad that when she was in FINKL, everyone loved her. Now, since she’s so exposed in the media and advertising, people would rather bash her and pretend they know who she really is. Calling her a whore, slut, and skank simply because she’s wearing clothes that are in context with an event or dance choreography.
I don’t really care for her as an entertainer nor do I drool over her like most simple minded guys who are humble enough to admit that she’s a good looking woman. However, I do find her to be quite the Marylin Monroe of Korea who probably won’t be a tragic story because she’s tougher than those who have already succumbed to idiotic Korean Netziners.

lol… i wanna see… where’s this bashing coming from? i haven’t been seeing a lot of it… so point me in the right direction
Umm….get your info straight. The majority of Korea love her skankiness and they call it “sexy”. Why do you think “sexy” has made such a big comeback and concept in Korean entertainment and daily life?? She’s praised by the media as a goddess and everyone else, except for maybe 1-2% of the Korean population.
Don’t you DARE compare her career to U;nee’s. Bimbo, prostitute Hyori has NO IDEA what U;nee and those other celebrities have had “to endure”. Get your effing facts straight. She’s the one who is simple-minded and horny 24/7.
Understand what the word “facts” mean before you pretend to know how to use it.
There is a fine line between constructive criticism and bashing. Now it seems almost everything a celebrity does is considered bad according to sites like AllKpop (Perez Hilton wannabe). Although the posts are in English, it’s possible they could be translated into Korean (seeing how Korean media have lurked on Soompi before and some cafes translate stuff from there too). One might say it’s all in good “fun” to tease these celebrities, but I’m sure they never felt the pressure and humiliation of being a laughing stock on a larger scale. I think it’s quite unnecessary to have so much hate (and/or overzealous love for a celebrity). Some of this overwhelming energy and time for these celebs could be really put to better use for the world. I wonder if these gossip sites will ever get sued for their exaggerating rumors as well.
Yea i know !!!
every celeb has admirers an haters .But ya gotta ignore dem haters cause they blood suckas . they should just leave these celebs alone !!!
