Is there a shortage of Japanese American actors

…portraying Japanese characters in Hollywood?

Leonardo Nam plays a Japanese American during World War 2 when he is forced to go to an internment camp in American Pastime. He also plays a Japanese gangster in Fast and the Furious 3.

Brian Tee plays D.K. in the Fast and the Furious 3. …oh wait, he’s half-Korean and half-Japanese. nvm.

The Memoirs of a Geisha...speaks for itself.

James Kyson Lee plays Ando Masahashi in Heroes.

Joon Park plays a Japanese Gangster in Speed Racer.

Linda Park plays Hoshi Sato in Star Trek Enterprise.

5.5 examples may not be a lot to go by….but hey! I’m sure there’s more examples out there…somewhere….over the rainbow. Linda Park is hot though.

No mention of Bi/Rain/Jeong Ji Hoon as Japanese racer Taejo Togokhan? I too was wondering what was up with that….
