Hayden Panettiere Wanted in Japan:
Hayden Panettiere’s dolphin-saving mission last month has led to a warrant for her arrest in Japan, E! News reported.
“I learned that they have an arrest warrant out for me in Japan,” the “Heroes” star told E! News. “We just found out.”

Panettiere, 18, was part of a convoy of activists from the U.S. and Australia who on Oct. 30 paddled out on surfboards to protest the annual slaughter of dolphins and whales by Japanese fisherman.
Her group attempted to reach a pod of dolphins before it was driven into a nearby cove and massacred, but they were blocked by a fishing boat before they could reach the sea creatures.
After returning to shore, the group headed directly to Osaka and left the country to avoid being arrested for trespassing by the Japanese national police.
When asked what the arrest warrant could mean, Panettiere said, “Potentially jail, but I doubt it.”
As far as I’m concerned Japanese fishermen, just because you can eat everything doesn’t mean you should kill everything, especially when it’s not to feed one family but a whole supermarket. And to the Japanese government wanting to arrest Panettiere for sticking her cute butt on a surfboard and getting between the fishermen and the dolphins….as Petros Papadakis would say, “You can go straight to hell.”
I know the typical comments towards her personal mission are like “how lame” and “why would she do that….doesn’t she have anything better to do?” Why do most people do anything that matters to them? It’s because they care and if people can’t understand that then it’s because they don’t know anyone but themselves. I see nothing wrong with what Hayden is doing and since she has the time and money to do it….she should tell the Japanese fishermen and the market it’s for, to stop eating those dolphins since they are full of mercury anyways.
