Se7en, obtained trademark right on his name in AmericaTop singer Se7en, who’s now aiming for American market, is sailing through processes necessary for issuing an album, such as obtaining trademark right on his name “SE7EN” in US music market….Se7en is also focusing on prior-to-debut promotion, since his recording is almost near the final stage.Under the direction of Mark Shimmel, who made big stars like Usher, T.L.C., and Tony Braxton, Se7en is currently recording with Rich Harrison, who wrote “Crazy in Love” for Beyonce.
Also, recently, Noise Trip joined Se7en’s production team, who participated in Black Eyed Peas and Fergie’s album. It’s also known that they are about to bring another big producer on the team.
Se7en, who’s planning to announce his debut album at the end of this year, is joining parties sponsored by American broadcast companies and music companies to focus on advertising himself.
After making it a numerous times, I think I managed to figure out the easiest way of making it. This recipe is for two people… Ingredients:
1 whole white onion - med size - chopped up.
1 whole Korean squash - med size- peeled and chopped up.
1/2 lb of ground pork.
Soy sauce
3 tbsp of roasted black bean paste
1/3 cup of water
1 tbsp of flour
water
Pre-made ja jang myun noodles.
—
Before you start the prepration…boil some water for the noodles so by the time the sauce is ready, you can cook it.
For the sauce, start off by oiling a wok/deep sauce pan with some vegetable oil. After the pan gets hot, brown the ground pork in it. When the ground pork is cooked, add the chopped onions and squash. Splash two generous blots of soy sauce on top and stir it all around. When the vegetables start to cook, they’ll build up a soup of moisture. When you see that happening, add 3 big tbsp of roasted black bean paste on top and stir it in.
Next, add 1/3 of a cup of water into the pan and stir it all around. With the 1 tbsp of flour, put it into a small bowl with some water and stir it around so it gets milky. Add this thickener into the ja jang myun sauce and stir it all around.
The sauce should not take very long to cook so by the time you’re finish with adding the ingredients, start cooking the noodles.
Usually you can tell the noodles are done when they float to the top. When you see this, pour the hot water into a strainer so you can extract the noodles.
Divide the noodles into two portions, add the sauce on top of the two servings….and enjoy with some yellow pickled daikon radishes.
7 years of watching her grow up, I’ve grown to look at Boa as Korea’s lil sister. She grew up in the SM slave system (LA Times) and developed to be the Anti-Britney despite what the typical pre-teen know-it-all thinks.
When her music company first announced that she was entering the Japanese market, for some reason it intrigued me…kind of like as if she was some up and coming boxer. She had the charisma, a sharp sense of humor, and said things way beyond her young years. In a way, her rise reminds me of Scarface, but without the cocaine and violence. She was a unknown (to japan) talent with enormous potential who was about to surprise a market that’s known to be very difficult on outsiders. I guess in her success, I felt some pride in knowing that she would represent Koreans very well and she has.
As an artist, even after her immense success, she does not seem complacent with where she stands. Unlike Brtiney who calls her children mistakes and screws up her own image and chances for a comeback,…Boa learned more about creating music. Although she seems to lack the ability to compose a good song, just by involving herself in the process of making music and its lyrics, she completely separates herself from the typical Pop-star. I also like how whenever she talks about music, she would uses words like “concept” in order to express what was going on…It shows she understands the industry and that it’s not just her who is creating the songs.
I’ve heard some stories of Boa being a diva, like ignoring a fan because they didn’t understand Korean, and if that’s true…shame on her. But for the most part, she seems to be the perfect professional. She always smiling with bags under her eyes, composed even with injuries, and is unwilling to be the train wreck called Britney Spears. Her image is consistent and even though people call that as being fake, it’s actually called good manners. Being nice when you don’t have to is what parents teaches us and if you think that’s fake, well that just means almost everyone who gives you a “have a nice day” is fake.
I think one of the more interesting things I’ve heard come from Boa’s mouth was the fear of not being popular anymore….and I can understand that since she’s so engulfed in her career. It will truly be a sad sight to see when she’s no longer relevant..but hopefully, she’ll be involved in other creative outlets.
Boa Making Girls Cry Lee Min Young and Se7en has the potential to do what Boa has done in Japan….but in the USA. Although, I’m afraid the Min’s “Little Winner’s” spunk…will be replaced with a oriental Lolita image…she does have the talents to be a real entertainer and not just a Britney Spears.
McDonalds was never known for their commercials…but this one is really addictive. I see it all the time on the Cartoon Network and it never gets tiring. Even though the timing of hitting the beats could have been better…the facial expression on the lil kid is priceless. The father enjoyment was a nice touch too.
This Heavenly Sword is quite impressive. It’s not becaue of the computer graphics but how they avoid the censorship of blood being squirted all over the place. In place of gore, the animators uses the main characters red hair to show the aftermath of violence. First time I saw it, I thought it was the best game commercial ever.
and on a side note…
Big Bang will be making an entrance into Japan’s music market (credit: kbs) using the underground networks and promoters. I don’t really follow this group because not only are they a bunch of lil dudes trying to act sexy…the whole “yo yo yo” lingo, makes me cringe. It’s reminds me of when Se7en screamed “ho-Ho-HO!” at the MTV VMA 2006…it just does not sound right.
With that said, I do think G-Dragon needs to ditch the rest of the members. He has enough charisma, talent, and personality to make it on his own. Big Bang can go on without him. Although it does not really fit…he has the stuff to be Korea’s Neptune/Pharrell if he educates himself on creating music….
Yoon Eun-hye. Even in Goong, although she’s on the slight chubby side…that chubbiness helps in forming a nice pair of legs. The smoothness of her skin and the bare ankles compliment the school girl outfit she wore…..
